By agreeing to take part in the DU Apps Studio User Experience Program Policy you CONSENT to DU Apps Studio:
recording the location of your device when DU Apps Studio apps, products and services running on your device crash or suffer an error;
saving data from DU Launcher to your SD card and/or other storage areas on your device and accessing the information it saves;
collecting other data described in this UEP Policy; and
storing the data its collects outside of the jurisdictions you use the services in, including storage in China and the USA.
You provide your consent to the collection of the data described above only for the purpose of analyzing, evaluating, reviewing and improving the user experience of DU Apps Studio mobile apps, products and services.
Your participation in the User Experience Program is completely voluntary. You decision whether to take part or not to take part will have no effect on your access to DU Apps Studio mobile apps, products or services.
You are free to quit the User Experience Program at any time. You do not have to give a reason.
By installing and launching DU Launcher, you agree to participate in DU Apps User Experience Program subject to this User Experience Program Policy (the “UEP Policy”).
This UEP Policy applies to DU Launcher, which is a mobile app product owned and offered by DU Apps Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”). Note that this UEP Policy supplements and incorporates DU Apps Studio privacy policy presenting on its website (at http://www.duapps.com).
The User Experience Program aims to analyze and improve your mobile app user experience based on direct communications with you (e.g., email), understanding your preferences and usage patterns on DU Apps Studio mobile apps and other third party apps that run on your device, and using this information to continuously enhance the user experience of our products and services. Participation in this program will not affect your access to or use of other mobile products or services. Participation in this program is not intended or designed to interrupt or interfere with your mobile activity (such as by imposing pop-up dialog boxes, or requiring mail or telephone surveys, etc.).
You are free to quit the User Experience Program at any time. You do not have to give a reason.
Our User Experience Program collects the following types of information:
1. General usage statistics: including statistics and data about the frequency DU Launcher is being used, at what times, for how long, and other data associated with your usage of our mobile apps or services and of third-party apps (e.g., how many times a user clicks on a third party app, the types of third party apps installed on your device, and other technical activity information about the app such as the apps icon and what apps are running on you device at different times);
2. Function usage statistics: including all aspects of how you use our app, product and service features and functionality;
3. Application error logs: error procedures or alerts will be reported via error logs, so that we can accurately locate the cause of the error, study it, and improve product quality;
4. Data about your device: including IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) of your mobile device, mobile device ID numbers; WLAN status and information about your internet connection (such as your IP address and ISP);
5. Location data: information about the geographic location of your device when DU Apps Studio apps, products and services suffer an error or crash;
6. Direct communications with you: feedback and other information we collect through communications with you.
How your data is used:
Data collected pursuant to this UEP Policy will be used only for the purpose of analyzing, evaluating, reviewing and improving the user experience of DU Apps Studio mobile apps, products and services. We respect your privacy and will not share your information with any third party (other than our contracted service providers) and will not use your information for other commercial purposes, unless we obtain your consent.
International Transfers of the information we collect:
The information we collect may be transferred to and stored in countries outside of the jurisdiction you are in. Some of these jurisdictions offer differing levels of protection for the information and may, in certain instances, be less protective than the jurisdiction you are typically resident in. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the information we collect, including your personal information, is treated securely and in accordance with applicable law and this UEP.
